Product Description
Magnesium Peroxide (MgO2) is an odorless fine powder peroxide with a white to off-white color that provides the benefits of magnesium while progressively releasing oxygen when used as directed.

Magnesium is an ideal carrier for oxygen due to its antacid properties that alkalize gut fluid, enabling oxygen dissolution. Magnesium Peroxide progressively releases oxygen upon contact with acids in water while imparting a beneficial high alkaline reaction.
Application
Batch experiments evaluated MgO2 half-life (600 mg/L) in groundwater under various temperatures (4, 15, and 30 °C) and initial pH levels (3, 7, and 12). The effect of Fe2+ ions on toluene remediation was also investigated. Results showed half-life variations from 5 to 15 days depending on pH conditions, with optimal performance at pH 7 and 15 °C.
