Pure sodium perborate (NaBO3) is a white, odorless solid under standard conditions. Sodium perborate monohydrate (NaBO3.H2O) has commercial applications as a stable and safe detergent and bleach compound, offering superior stability compared to alternatives like sodium percarbonate and sodium perphosphate.
