Product Description
Potassium monopersulfate, more commonly called non-chlorine shock, is a substance that can rapidly oxidize swimming pool contaminates without the use of chlorine. Also known as MPS or Potassium peroxymonosulfate, this compound is a potassium salt of peroxymonosulfuric acid that contains no chlorine.
As a popular non-chlorine based shock, its primary swimming pool application is to oxidize water contaminants, allowing existing chlorine or bromine sanitizers to focus on water sanitation.
