Potassium Monopersulfate Tablet

Potassium monopersulfate is also called MPS, or Potassium peroxymonosulfate. MPS does not contain chlorine, as it is a potassium salt of peroxymonosulfuric acid.

Potassium peroxymonosulfate is marketed as a popular non-chlorine based shock. Its primary swimming pool use is to oxidize any contaminates in the water, leaving chlorine or bromine sanitizers already present in the water to focus on sanitizing the water.

Potassium Monopersulfate tablet can be used in aquaculture to increase oxygen and clean the water.

• Since monopersulfate doesn't contain chlorine, it won't produce chloramines or chlorine odors and will not bleach vinyl liners.
• Monopersulfate dissolves quickly at normal pool temperatures without premixing.
• Can be used day or night.
• Allows swimming to resume after a short waiting period for complete mixing and circulation.
• Well suited for indoor use where odors from high doses of chlorine and persistent combined chlorine residuals are magnified.
