Product Description
Potassium monopersulfate (commonly known as non-chlorine shock or MPS) is a powerful oxidizing agent used for water treatment without chlorine. As a potassium salt of peroxymonosulfuric acid, it effectively oxidizes contaminants while being chlorine-free.
Primary Applications
This compound serves as an excellent non-chlorine based shock treatment for swimming pools. It oxidizes water contaminants, allowing existing chlorine or bromine sanitizers to focus on water sanitation. Particularly effective for indoor pools where sunlight and wind aren't available to break down combined chlorine.
