Product Description
Potassium monopersulfate (commonly called non-chlorine shock) is an effective oxidizing agent for swimming pool contaminants that operates without chlorine. Also known as MPS (Potassium peroxymonosulfate), this compound is a potassium salt of peroxymonosulfuric acid.
As a popular non-chlorine based shock treatment, potassium peroxymonosulfate oxidizes contaminants in pool water, allowing existing chlorine or bromine sanitizers to focus on water sanitation.
