Product Description
Potassium monopersulfate (commonly known as non-chlorine shock) is an effective oxidizing agent for swimming pool water treatment that eliminates contaminants without using chlorine. Also referred to as MPS or Potassium peroxymonosulfate, this compound is a potassium salt of peroxymonosulfuric acid.
As a popular non-chlorine based shock treatment, potassium peroxymonosulfate primarily oxidizes water contaminants, allowing existing chlorine or bromine sanitizers to focus on water disinfection.
